The San Diego Union Tribune is reporting that an auto accident, where the car was flipped over, took the life of a 24-year-old man from Escondido. The name of the man, who was alone in the the vehicle at the time of the accident, has not yet been released.

According to authorities who arrived on the scene of the crash in Rancho Bernardo the man’s car veered off Highland Valley Road near Pomerado and rolled over after coming around a deadly curve. The vehicle turned over and landed on its roof. The driver was currently living with his girlfriend in Escondido, but heading south at the the time of the accident. The man was found to have sustained severe head and brain injuries. Paramedics on the scene rushed to get him to the closest hospital for medical treatment, but he died before reaching the facility.
