We didn&#039;t mean to say that his initial decision to drive drunk was smart, only that his second decision (to get out of the car and hail a cab) was the right one.  Quaid made a terrible choice to get into the car in the first place, but we&#039;re glad that (thanks to the work of a smart police officer) he did not go through with driving home.  But you&#039;re right, he should never have gotten behind the wheel in the first place -- that was a terrible decision -- and he&#039;s lucky he was not arrested by that officer.  Not a lot of people would be that lucky...</description>
