A concertgoer said Tyler’s head was bleeding and he was holding his shoulder after the fall, but it wasn’t immediately clear how seriously he was hurt.
Tyler, who is best known for his work as the lead singer and primary lyricist of Boston-based rock band Aerosmith, was dancing around the stage when he fell and hit his head on the ground. He was still alert and laughing as he was airlifted to the hospital.
