Fatal Motorcycle Accident Kills Miramar Woman Soldier

Accidents can happen at any time.  Whether it’s a car accident, slip and fall accident or bicycle accident — everyday accidents happen.  But out of all the  ways to get around town, motorcyclists have to be more cautious and aware of their surroundings when on the roadways.

Our motorcycle accident lawyers know that motorcycle crashes can cause the most amount of pain and suffering as motorcyclists often suffer significant personal injury and even wrongful death when involved in a motorcycle accident.

In recent San Diego motorcycle accident news, a Miramar servicewoman riding a motorcycle was killed on state Route 79 near Lake Cuyamaca.  The accident occurred about 3:40 p.m. and when the California Highway Patrol arrived to the scene of the accident, they found the woman and the motorcycle she was riding off the road.

While the cause of the accident is not yet known, CHP know that the woman’s bike went down on a dangerous curve and struck a dirt berm causing her to fly off her motorcycle.

Each year in the United States, thousands of motorcyclists are injured or killed on streets and highways.  According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), there were over 5,000 motorcycle accident deaths in the United States in 2006 alone.

Our motorcycle accident lawyers know that like any other accident, a motorcycle accident can happen at any time. But unfortunately, motorcycles lack most of the safety features that cars provide, and because of that, motorcycle accidents often lead to catastrophic injury (traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries or wrongful death).

If you or a loved one have been involved in a motorcycle accident, hiring an experienced motorcycle accident lawyer can help ease any pain and suffering you may be going through.
