A motorcycle police officer and another bicyclist were involved in a bicycle accident in the Hillcrest section of San Diego on Tuesday at about 2:40 p.m., a San Diego Police Department spokesman said.
The bicycle accident happened in the 1000 block of University Avenue. Both riders suffered from minor injuries.

The officer sustained contusions, minor abrasions that may leave permanent scaring and complained of lower back pain.
