North Hollywood Car Crash Kills Three, Including Two Children

A pedestrian accident in North Hollywood, California turned into a fatal car crash for two children.

“The two children were pedestrians,” Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman D’Lisa Davies said.  “Our information is the car that may have precipitated the accident struck the van, then careened off and hit the two kids.”  A 12-year-old girl was airlifted to Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles and another 13-year-old boy was taken there by ambulance.

Our pedestrian accidents lawyers know all to well that incidents such as these happen all the time in every city in the United States.  Unfortunately, sometimes these have the potential to be fatal car accidents too many times.

Wrongful deaths like this that involve kids are even more detrimental because the younger a person is often means that they cannot handle extreme amounts of trauma, especially when they are experiencing children’s injuries themselves.

The accident happened early on the morning of March 27, 2009.  The driver of the vehicle survived, but did not need medical treatment, and the accident was under investigation.

The pedestrian accident lawyers at our firm regret hearing about cases like this because it means there have been children that have had their lives ended before they even had the chance to get started.  We take cases like these and make sure that proper care is taken so families of the people involved in car crashes ensured they will receive what they deserve to get help paying medical bills, as well as taking care of any emotional trauma or pain and suffering.
