Roger Guess, a 46-year-old resident of Hayward, California, died as a result of a fatal car accident that happened this past Saturday.
Police said at about 6 a.m., a black Nissan automobile crashed into the driver’s door of the Honda car Guess was driving. Hayward Police also said the Nissan likely ran a red light and was speeding when the car accident happened.
Our firm’s car accident lawyers feel that this a cautionary tale about the dangers of wrongful death when speeding and running red lights in car accidents. While both are major causes of car accidents, each will make a normal car accident far more deadly.
The emergency crew that arrived at the scene of the car crash pulled Guess from his damaged car and transported him to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, where he was pronounced dead. Witnesses reported seeing at least one person running from the scene of the car accident. Police are still looking for the people that were in the Nissan, as well as any other witnesses to the wrongful death.
No arrests have been made in relation to the car accident.
