A rollover car crash in Santee, California that happened on the morning of May 15, 2009 appears to now be  caused by teenage driver who was drunk behind the wheel of his vehicle.

There are many causes of car accidents, but drunk-driving car accidents are among the most preventable out there on the road.  Drunk-drivers cause wrongful deaths more than almost any other type of driver.  Also, due to their inexperience, teenage drivers cause too many automobile accidents as well.  When drunk-driving and teen drivers mix, the consequences could result in fatal car accidents.

Our Santee car accident attorneys know that car accidents can cause you great pain and suffering and that you might need help paying all of the medical bills while you recover—that is, if you are involved in a drunk driving incident that does not turn into a fatal car accident.

In this case, both of the teens involved in the Santee drunk driving accident were extremely lucky not to have experienced severe personal injuries or wrongful deaths.

A little past midnight on the date of the drunk driving accident, the 18-year-old driver and his 14-year-old passenger were driving along Magnolia Avenue near Princess Joann Road when the driver lost control and the car crashed, sheriff’s Lt. Gary Steadman said.

The older teen suffered personal injuries that were treated at a local hospital.  After he was released from the hospital, he was then arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, according to the police reports.  The teenage girl experienced no personal injuries and was released to her father.
