A car accident caused the wrongful death of a former San Diego State University kicker and Escondido High School soccer and football player when his Audi car crashed into a tree on May 10, 2009.

Brian Simnjanovski, 27, was travelling south on Valley Center Road when his car apparently swerved at Vesper Road and got into the car accident.  His wrongful death was confirmed at the scene.
