Today’s streets are not made for the urban cyclist.  They are dangerous and put cyclists in the position to get hurt in serious bicycle accidents.

TMZ reports that Shawn Pyfrom, star of television’s “Desperate Housewives”, crashed into a senior biker with his vehicle in a particularly bad car accident in Los Angeles, California.  Currently, the severity of the biker’s personal injuries are unknown.

Pyfrom attempted to administered help to the biker until the paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.  At the moment, neither Pyfrom, nor the biker have been cited for being at fault for the accident.
