Fight The Power! Public Enemy sang it loud and proud in the late 1980′s and while it is a great tune, you still got to be careful, even when battling against the powers that be. You would think that someone who wrote and sang those lyrics would abide by them, but someone forgot to tell infamous rapper Flavor Flav that.
In the early hours of the night, Flavor Flav was involved in a two-car accident in Las Vegas last night, but details have been sketchy about who was at fault for the accident or if it is the result of a drunk-driving incident.

The car accident lawyers who work at our law firm know that you can have millions of dollars, all the fame in the world, and feel like you are king of the world, but that does not mean you won’t be involved in an auto accident. Flav is lucky that he had no major personal injuries and that the crash did not result in the wrongful death of himself or the other car driver.
Police arrived at the scene of the accident to make sure everyone was all right and administer medical treatment if it was needed. However, the cause of the accident is currently being investigated, but it could be any number of reasons. Was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol (DUI) a factor? Did the West Coast storms blow all the way over into the desert and have rain cause slick driving conditions? Were either of the drivers speeding or distracted?
Though Flavor Flav has described himself as the “World’s Greatest Hypeman,” it is hard to think that this is a publicity stunt. After all, this auto accident will most likely cost the rapper a good chuck of money to fix the property damage on his car. Furthermore, should he is found to be at fault for the crash, his insurance company could be responsible for the medical bills for any injuries to the other driver.
Our firm’s experienced car accident lawyers are going to wait until all of the facts are presented before giving their complete and honest opinion on the situation, but for now they will say that it is a good thing that Flavor Flav walked away unscathed from the accident and that the same is true for the other driver.
What do you think about this story? Do you think Flavor Flav was at fault for the collision? What do you think was the cause behind the crash?
