Over the Thanksgiving weekend, Senator John Kerry’s daughter, Alexandra Kerry, was arrested for drunk driving in Hollywood, California after police officers pulled her over for a misdemeanor around midnight on November 30th, 2009. According to California law, even drivers below the legal limit are vulernable to prosecution if there is evidence that they drove recklessly with alcohol present in their system.
