Drunk driving accidents cause thousands of deaths each year and this is another instance of someone putting others at risk by abusing substances and getting behind the wheel. It has not been officially determined whether or not it was alcohol or drugs in Ms. Kerry’s system, but a breathalyzer test is set to determine exactly what she was under the influence of.
The Los Angeles Police Department reported that they “detected signs and symptoms” that Ms. Kerry had alcohol in her system, with her blood-alcohol level (BAL) reaching .06, right under the .08 legal limit.
