Say it ain’t so, Weezer.

The frontman for the pop group Weezer, Rivers Cuomo was injured when the band’s tour bus crashed in upstate New York.  No other members of the band were onboard the bus when it crashed, but some of Cuomo’s family and personal staff were personally injured in the bus accident.

At the time of the accident, no passengers believed they had experienced any personal injuries, but later it was revealed that Cuomo had broken three ribs and his assistant, Sarah, received two broken ribs as well as a spinal cord injury in her lower vertebrae.  Both Cuomo and his assistant were rushed to a hospital in Amsterdam, New York for medical treatment, where it was discovered that the singer had a punctured lung and had received minor damage to his spleen.  Both of the injured parties are expected to make full recoveries.

Weezer has canceled the rest of its Ratitude tour and promised fans that they would be back to play for them once Cuomo had fully recovered from his bus crash injuries.
