Our firm’s car accident attorneys have seen first hand the damage that buses can do when they go out of control. In this case, the wintery conditions had created a patch of black ice, which caused the driver to lose control of the bus and veer it off into a ditch on the side of the road.
At the time of the accident, no passengers believed they had experienced any personal injuries, but later it was revealed that Cuomo had broken three ribs and his assistant, Sarah, received two broken ribs as well as a spinal cord injury in her lower vertebrae. Both Cuomo and his assistant were rushed to a hospital in Amsterdam, New York for medical treatment, where it was discovered that the singer had a punctured lung and had received minor damage to his spleen. Both of the injured parties are expected to make full recoveries.
Weezer has canceled the rest of its Ratitude tour and promised fans that they would be back to play for them once Cuomo had fully recovered from his bus crash injuries.
