A stunt woman who appeared on the show ‘Justified’ was taken to the hospital with severe head trauma after an on-set car accident, according to reports. The woman, now in critical condition, sustained a low speed blow to the head after falling backwards and hitting the concrete.
The L.A. County Fire Department was called to the scene, and production on the set of ‘Justified’ was quickly shut down. Shortly thereafter, fire crews contacted Cal/OSHA, the government entity that oversees occupational safety and health, to report the injury.

If you have sustained a personal injury at work, consider the following tips to maximize your legal recovery.
Taking these steps may be a key component in the success of your insurance (or worker’s compensation) claim:
- Immediately injured at work. Seek medical attention if you are not feeling well in any way as a result of an occupational injury. This includes any pain, confusion, bleeding, or irregular breathing. If you have fallen, get help immediately.
- Notify your employer. Inform your supervisor as soon as possible of your sustained injury. Contact your HR department as well.
- Get witness information. If you’ve been hurt at work, and a co-worker or other person was witness to your injury, be sure to keep their information. Also, notate the details of the accident in writing.
- Observe changes in your health. If your health deteriorates later, be sure to let you employer know.
- Keep copies of your medical reports. Ask your doctor for a copy of any medical reports that arise out of the work accident.
- Follow up with a personal injury attorney. Contact an experienced San Diego personal injury attorney before you make any statements to the insurance company about your injury.
