Our personal injury lawyers know from experience that driver distractions are a leading cause of car accidents and have the potential to create physical disabilities or make car accidents, such as this one, turn into wrongful death. Many times, drivers are not 100% aware of their surroundings and may not see things that have the potential to cause car crashes.
The driver of the Acura was not arrested, and further investigation of the car accident is ongoing. Sergeant Tres Polet of the California Highway Patrol said there is no information as to what Ambrosio-Vasquez was doing at the time of the fatal car crash.
“As far as we know, he was by himself in the car, so there are no witnesses to tell us why he stopped,” she said.
