In today’s world, traveling on the highways and neighborhood streets of our communities can cause serious personal injury, and you don’t even have to be in a car to get hurt.

Our San Diego law firm’s car accident attorneys would like to pass along the name of the woman killed in a fatal Mira Mesa pedestrian accident by way of the San Diego Union Tribune.

Woman’s identity released in fatal Mira Mesa pedestrian accident.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office announced this morning that a 54-year-old woman died as a result of her injuries sustained during the deadly pedestrian accident.

Around 7:45 p.m. on April 11th, 2010, a Honda Odyssey hit her as she was crossing Camino Ruiz near Zapata Avenue.  The Mira Mesa resident died at the scene of the pedestrian accident before she could receive medical treatment or be transported to a nearby hospital.

Authorities did not arrest the driver of the mini van and the cause of the fatal accident has yet to be determined.

Our firm’s San Diego car accident attorneys will say the same thing to pedestrians that they say to cyclists:  it is a dangerous place to be, out on our streets.  Cars rule the road and when it comes to getting in a traffic accident, a pedestrian accident is the one that’s most likely to result in an untimely death.

If you or a loved one were injured in an automobile accident you didn’t cause, then we urge you to contact our bilingual offices as soon as possible at 1-858-551-2090 or please click here for a FREE consultation with an experienced and qualified car accident attorney in San Diego.  We handle all cases on a contingency fee basis, which means that you owe us nothing until we recover money on your behalf.
