A Clairemont Mesa intersection was home to a deadly accident in which a car was split in half. A 91-year-old motorist was killed in this accident when her vehicle was split in half. The San Diego police shared that the woman driving her Toyota Camry was struck by an eastbound car shortly after 11 o’clock in the morning, leading to the victim’s car being split in half.
The impact of the strike sent the driver of the Camry onto the side of the road on the southwest corner of the street crossing, pushing that vehicle directly into a light pole. The driver passed away at the scene.
The other person involved in the accident in which a vehicle was split in half was a 32-year-old woman who suffered minor injuries, including scratches and bruises. The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident in order to determine what may have prompted such a catastrophic hit. Severe accidents may lead to critical injuries and fatalities at the scene of the incident.
Being able to get medical authorities to the scene quickly may not help if the strikes of the accident is so severe as in this case. If you or someone you know has already been injured in an accident in which your vehicle was split in half, or otherwise hit very hard, you need the help of a San Diego lawyer.
